5777bd: Reading Game Decisions on a Small Screen

A game control should answer two questions: what is selected now, and what future result will settle it? Roulette and Limbo answer those questions in different ways.
This page explains game formats and rules; it is not a playable lobby. Check the relevant service for current game availability and the exact version in use.
Roulette: identify the exact covered set
Play'n GO European Roulette Pro uses one green zero and 36 numbered pockets. A straight-up chip covers one pocket; a split covers two; a red or black outside choice covers 18 numbered pockets. On a phone, confirm which bet area has been selected before reading the payout line.
Suppose a chip is placed on number 17 and another on red. Number 17 is black. If the result is 17, the one-number selection covers it and red does not. If the result is zero, neither selection covers it. The wheel layout stays the same after each spin.
Coverage and payout are separate readings
A larger covered set gives more possible winning pockets, while the table states a different return for each bet type. Do not multiply a one-chip stake by the count of pockets it covers: a 2-unit red chip is a 2-unit stake covering 18 pockets, not 36 units staked.
Check the displayed stake, selected bet area and payout line as three separate pieces of information. If any is clipped on a phone, reveal it before continuing. A past-results strip shows history, not an adjustment to the next spin's red, black or zero pockets.
Limbo fixes its target before the result
In a Limbo-style round, a stake and target multiplier are chosen before a generated result. At a hypothetical 1.9× target, a generated 1.6× is below the target and 2.2× is above it. This is a threshold comparison, not a chip covering wheel pockets.
On a small screen, check whether the target field or a result display is being read. A value shown after the round cannot retroactively become the chosen target. Do not use a previous multiplier to predict the next one, and keep paid-round stakes within the limit set beforehand.
Questions about games
Does roulette zero count as red or black?
No. In Play'n GO European Roulette Pro, zero is a separate green pocket; red and black each cover 18 of 37 pockets.
Does a 2-unit red chip mean 36 units are staked because it covers 18 numbers?
No. The stake is 2 units; the covered set contains 18 numbered pockets. Stake and coverage are different quantities.
Can a Limbo target be chosen after the result is shown?
No. The target is set before the generated multiplier appears, then the two values are compared under that version's rules.
